Subdivision of the area began in 1908, so many of the homes in the area were built in the early 1900s, consisting of timely styles like Craftsman, Prairie School and Spanish Colonial Revival. Hundreds of homes in this neighborhood have been designated historic homes, some the work of some of the area’s biggest names in architecture.
